The Student Voice

An elected Head Boy and Head Girl represent the opinions and interests of the Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.  Regular discussions are generated within PC Groups and the viewpoints are relayed to the fortnightly, Academy Student Voice Meetings.

In turn, the Head Boy and Girl represent the Studio School on the Barnfield Federal Parliament – a body consisting representative students from the two all Academies, the Studio School and the College itself.  The Parliament arrange joint ventures such as; trips, activities, competitions and fund-raising.

Along with the College, each Academy is invited to enter a year long programme of competitions; with widely ranging activities from sport to academia. The competitions run for the year and points are collated with the winning site being awarded ‘The Federation Cup’.

As a Federation, we consider the student body a valued partner in the Barnfield Community.  We are extremely proud of the massive contribution they make.
